Canon Named the Overall Brand Leader in 2006 And the #1 Brand in Every Black-and-White Speed Segment in the U.S. for the Fifth Consecutive Year

March 29, 2007 Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leading provider of digital imaging solutions, today announced that the Company is the number-one brand leader in the overall copier market and in every speed segment of the black-and-white copier market evaluated in the U.S. in 2006, according to Gartner Dataquest^*.

This makes the fifth consecutive year that Canon has captured the number-one position in every speed segment of the black-and-white copier market in the U.S., and the 24th time in the last 25 years that Canon has been the number-one overall brand leader in the black-and-white copier market.
