Joining the Fisher's Team
Main / Open Mic / Teresa Jorgensen's Blog

Teresa Jorgensen announces joining the Fisher's team.

I have been told that no one will read my first blog, so of course, I am hoping to buck the trend! I hope to get out and introduce myself in person over the next several weeks, but in the meantime thought I would announce that fact that I have joined the Fishers team using the latest and greatest technologies...

First, a little bit about myself: I am an Idaho native and graduated from Meridian High.  For the last five years I have been a stay at home mom. Prior to that, I had a 16 year career at Micron. As I began to search for employment, a friend gave me Chris Taylors name, who happens to be the CEO here at Fishers. Being a local, I remember the Fishers that was downtown it was almost an Idaho landmark. My initial reaction was lukewarm, but I am a firm believer in always investigating an opportunity. My first phone interview was o.k. (as they say, nothing to write home about). However, after my first face-to-face interview, I was sold on the company and decided it was time to pursue Fishers aggressively.

Fishers is focused on creating value and maintaining relationships. They have committed to new business initiatives and are taking a leadership position in the industry. It is clear, that it in this company, it isnt just cool marketing lingo, but a culture that is customer-centric, and relationship-based business is being embraced. Since I strive to bring value to all my relationships, I was excited to discover the Fishers mission. I want to help solve problems, and add energy to the efforts that surround implementing solutions.

I am excited to be here with Fishers and I am really looking forward to developing relationships within this industry!

Re:Joining the Fisher's Team
Wow, TJ! You are immortal on the net, forever and ever.

Here's my list of advice:

1. Never put anything on this blog you woill regret. For example, don't tell them about that time you... (oops, uh, never mind)
2. Load heaps of praise on your employer and your competitors. Things like "I love my job, I love my customers, and I love looking at my lovely competitors in the rear-view mirror."
3. Most important of all: If, for some reason, you need to leave the company, don't burn your bridges :)

So, good luck in your blogorama.

Dave
