Lanier Launches Three High-Volume Systems Engineered For High-Volume Output In Production Environments
Main / News

LD190, LD1110, and LD1135 deliver fast copying and printing with superior reliability

Atlanta , Ga. , May 15, 2006 --- Lanier Worldwide, Inc. today launched the Lanier LD190, LD1110, and LD1135, three high-volume systems that are specifically designed to provide high productivity, excellent durability, and unprecedented efficiency in production output environments. All three systems will be available immediately.

Production-level output places much higher demands on equipment than conventional workgroups or offices, said Dominic Pontrelli, vice president of Marketing for Lanier. The LD190, LD1110, and LD1135 are engineered to maximize reliability and easily handle intense workloads in corporate reprographics departments, data centers, print-for-pay shops, and other high-volume applications. They combine robust internal components, low maintenance requirements, and extremely high duty cycles, so end-users can expect smooth operation for even the most demanding jobs.

All three systems deliver high-speed digital monochrome copying and printing up to 90, 110, or 135 pages per minute, with image quality up to 1200 dpi. They also offer full-color and monochrome scanning at speeds up to 80 images per minute.

These three high-powered systems are also equipped with innovative features that substantially improve productivity, Pontrelli said. From professional finishing to ease of use to workflow management, the LD190, LD1110, and LD1135 enable users to streamline any operation.

Features on these systems include paper trays that handle paper weights up to 80-pound cover stock, an optional large capacity tray that holds paper sizes up to 13 x 18 for 11 x 17 full-bleed proofs, options for stapling, hole-punching, and Z-folding, and a dual-source document interposer that allows users to add preprinted covers and insert sheets to any document. To improve usability, the systems also offer a 10.4 full-color LCD control panel with detailed machine graphics and thumbnail views of scanned documents for job preview.

End-users in high-volume environments can also maximize productivity by matching these three systems with software from Laniers large portfolio of production output solutions, Pontrelli said. We offer a wide range of innovative tools for print-on-demand workflow management, Web-based document submission, production printing, and variable data forms printing.
