Two new machines offer copying, scanning or faxing, as well as fast, affordable color printing.

Lanier today introduced the LD260C and LD275C, two high-performance digital imaging systems. These color multifunction products (MFPs) offer copying, scanning or faxing and produce documents at expeditious speeds, making them a good fit for businesses looking to cost effectively incorporate color into their documents.

While the LD260C offers print speeds of 55 pages per minute (ppm) full-color and 60 ppm black-and-white, the LD275C provides even faster output at 70 ppm full-color and 75ppm black-and-white. To reduce the waiting period, these MFPs offer warm-up times of less than two minutes and allow users to reload paper while print jobs are being processed. In addition, both the LD260C and LD275C have a maximum paper capacity of 7,400 sheets.

Equipped with Lanier’s new toner technology, which has smaller, more uniform particles, these MFPs deliver sharp, vivid, and consistent color printouts and stylish black-and-white documents at 600 dots per inch (dpi). To ensure consistent color throughout production, the LD260C/ LD275C Series has a sequence of internal calibrations running in the background to maintain toner consistency and registration. Beyond serving as ideal solutions for general office environments, these features enable the LD260C and LD275C to be well-suited for CRDs and commercial print shops as well as graphic houses looking to augment their current printing services.

The LD260C/LD275C Series offers a user-friendly interface that allows users to enter commands on a large, full-color, LCD touch-screen control panel at the machine. Keeping information stored on and shared via these MFPs secure is also made easy with access codes and user-authentication capabilities. In addition, the LD260C/LD275C Series uses encryption to protect data and documents in the devices and sent over the network. The systems also support IP security protocols to encrypt every IP packet in the data stream for high-security applications.
