Atlanta, Ga., October 12, 2006 --- Lanier Worldwide, Inc. today introduced the Lanier LDD120 Digital Duplicator, a unique system specifically designed to deliver large volumes of digital copies for K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and churches at a very low cost per page. This system will be available immediately.
Many of our customers need a more affordable way to produce high volumes of documents, said Dominic Pontrelli, vice president of Marketing for Lanier. The LDD120 is the answer. It allows smaller, cost-conscious organizations to accommodate large workloads for a significantly lower cost per page than with conventional digital copiers or laser printers.
The LDD120 delivers 130 pages per minute with 300 x 400 dpi image quality. Its large platen glass copies 11" x 17" books and originals, and the system automatically erases the center and edges of large documents, so end-users can easily make clean copies from thick books.
The LDD120 is designed for ease of use, Pontrelli said. It has the features and functions that our customers need to handle large copy jobs with outstanding speed and efficiency. It offers a large, easy-to-read LCD control panel, and it can apply spot colors that grab the readers attention. Plus, it accepts a wide variety of paper stocks and sizes, including card stock and envelopes.

The LDD120 also features an optional Windows GDI print controller, which connects to a PC for faster job setup.
