We are now allowed to publically talk about our selection as the only partner in the state of Idaho to be entrusted with HP's rollout of their cutting edge technology called Edgeline. Edgeline is a technology that HP invested over a billion dollars of R&D on and are rolling out this month. They selected 25 channel partners around the country to be the first to sell and support the product and Fisher's is honored to have been selected to be among them.

Unlike HP's previous forays into the high-volume color MFP market, this one is 100% HP developed (outside of a few components here and there).  So this product has HP quality and reliability through and through.  The two products launched this month are the CM8050 and CM8060, 50 and 60 page per minute monochrome and color MFPs.  The breakthrough with Edgeline is the application of inkjet technology to high-volume output without any of the drawbacks of the lower-end inkjet products (smudging, smearing, etc.).  Furthermore, with fewer moving parts and lower-cost ink (versus toner), Edgeline products are less expensive to operate than other color MFPs on the market.

Fisher's will have a demonstration model in the coming weeks and will hold an open-house to the public on May 23rd.  We are excited and honored to have this new product line and we look forward to its success in the Treasure Valley.  Thanks to HP for selecting Fisher's to help in their debut.
